Hospital Policies
Leashes and Pet Carriers
Please have your dogs on leashes and your cats in carriers when you
visit our clinic. We are located on a busy street and we would not want
any of your pets escaping. Please be sure to have your children ask
permission to touch other client's pets, not all animals are friendly
with strangers. For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must
be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam
rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a
leash.
Appointments
We prefer appointments, but walk-ins are welcome. We encourage you to
call ahead as we may be in surgery or seeing previously-scheduled
patients and your wait could be longer than you anticipate. We have
arranged our hours to make it as convenient as possible for you to bring
your pet in for routine and preventative check-ups. We try to schedule
appointments so you have plenty of time for examinations and your
questions. Sometimes emergencies can put us behind, so we hope you'll
understand should an emergency interrupt or delay your appointment. We
also offer drop-off appointments. This means you could bring your pet at
the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple
of hours. Usually we will ask you to leave your pet sometime in the
morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments .
Once the doctor is done, she will give you a call to go over the
diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.
Payment
We make every effort and are proud to deliver the best veterinary care
possible. In order to keep our prices reasonable and fair, we require
payment in full upon discharge. We accept cash, personal checks, debit
card, VISA, MasterCard, Care Credit, Discover, and money orders.
We will gladly give you a written estimate for all
services we are recommending for your pet so you can budget for future
work.
CareCredit
is a flexible client payment program, specifically designed for
healthcare expenses, that makes it easier for you to get the treatment
or procedures your pet needs.
